As we age, the effect of gravity, sun exposure and the stress caused by living in this day and age of fast-paced modernity can be seen on a person’s face. We frown, we laugh, we cry… The forehead wrinkles. We develop “crow’s feet” deep creases from between the nose and mouth, the jaw line begin to sag and the eyebrows dip.
As the natural process of aging takes effect, the skin, muscle and natural fat deposits underneath the facial tissue begin to thin, and unwanted fat begins to deposit around the neck. All this can be corrected and a more youthful appearance can be restored with facial reconstructive surgery and eyebrow lift. The skin on the cheeks, neck and eyelids is treated, fat is extracted, and a new youthful fullness is given to the face through the removal of fat deposits from the neck and under eye bags. There are times when this same fat is used to fill-in ridges and to reshape the cheekbones and chin.
